Before people can find healing, they often need to answer a more basic question: Why do we get sick? Is every illness the result of personal choices? Is sickness always an attack from Satan? Does a lack of faith prevent God from healing? In this message, we examine what Scripture actually teaches about the causes of sickness and the balanced, biblical response God calls His people to embrace. Discover why many Adventists have misunderstood this important subject and how God's Word points us to both faith and wisdom.

In this video Pastor Mark Finley will explore the biblical principles that guide us through illness, including God's abiding presence, healthy living, the proper role of medical science, the support of the church family, and the hope that comes from trusting Christ through every trial. Whether you're facing illness yourself or walking alongside someone who is, this study offers practical, Christ-centered counsel that brings clarity, encouragement, and confidence in God's care.
