In this episode, Abraham buries his beloved wife Sarah and purchases the Cave of Machpelah, the first piece of the Promised Land he ever owns. He then sends his most trusted servant, Eliezer, on a faith-filled journey back to Mesopotamia to find a wife for Isaac. Watch the beautiful story unfold as God leads Eliezer to Rebekah at the well.
Through Isaac and Rebekah’s marriage, and the birth of their sons Esau and Jacob (who becomes Israel), we see God’s covenant promises beginning to pass to the next generation.
Abraham’s story doesn’t end in death; it becomes the foundation of faith for generations to come, pointing forward to the promised Messiah who would bless all people of the earth.
This is more than the end of one man’s life. It is the beginning of a legacy that still speaks to us today.
